We don’t own anything really. It is all God’s. God, in his grace, only asks us to give back to His kingdom with a cheerful heart.
2 Corinthians 9:7 “ Each one must give as he has made us his mind, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”
All true Christians are commanded by God to give of their finances, time and other material possessions as an act of worship. God’s rule in our lives is all-pervasive. We are to recognize His Lordship in every single area of our lives. That includes our finances.
